HIGH-PRESSURE VEHICLE TANK SYSTEMS

As a large-scale supplier of tank systems, we have a great deal of
experience in designing and manufacturing high-pressure tank systems to meet specific customer requirements. We are happy to walk you through the entire process, from specifying requirements and engineering the systems all the way to approval. Our experienced team will work closely with you to find the best solution for your needs—for buses, trucks, trains, construction vehicles, and other mobile applications.

Alstom Coradia iLint

Alstom’s Coradia iLint is the world’s first passenger train powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. As a systems supplier, we provide this project with pre-assembled components, which we develop and manufacture in-house precisely for the specific space requirements. Two fuel tank compositions (FTCs), each consisting of four modules plus a control system, are installed in each railcar. With a full tank, the Coradia iLint has a range of around 1,000 kilometers.

Hylix B

The Hylix-B field testing project involves the development of a fully
electric truck prototype with a total weight of 26 metric tons and
powered by a fuel-cell drive. The aim of the project is to research the practicality, economic viability, and social acceptance of using
fuel-cell technology in trucks. It is funded by the Ministry of the
Environment, Climate Protection and Energy Sector Baden-Württemberg. The truck’s hydrogen tank system comprises five 350 liter cylinders, providing capacity for about 40 kilograms of hydrogen at a pressure stage of 350 bar.
