Kelowna is located in the heart of British Columbia's wine region, in the scenic Okanagan Valley. Its rolling vineyards, vast orchards, beautiful shoreline and surrounding valley mountains, is home to more than 40 wineries and 220,000 residents. Depending on who you ask, Kelowna can be described in many ways. Ask the winter lover and they’ll say it’s a winter wonderland, with incredible skiing, snowshoeing and quaint outdoor skating rinks. The outdoors fanatics may say that it was made for adventuring, starting your day on one of its many hiking and mountain biking trails, to historic trestle bridges and cascading waterfalls, and wrapping up with all the local treats at the farmers’ market. Kelowna is home to the only floating bridge in Canada, the W.R. Bennett Bridge. Extending 1,060 meters (3,478 ft) long in total, the bridge includes a 690-metre (2,264 ft) string of poles holding pontoons supporting an elevated deck. At the deepest point, the Okanagan Lake is approximately 60 meters (197 ft) deep, and as the folklore has it, somewhere there in the deep is where the local lake monster Ogopogo may take a nap.

Our growing team of 70 employees from Operations, Engineering and Administration work together under one roof at our brand new micro-factory facility near Kelowna Airport. The building itself is not only in a beautiful Scandinavian design with onsite gym, roof top patio and employee lounges, it’s a state of the art facility with the latest technology, where we engineer and produce top tier battery cell and hydrogen fuel cell systems for commercial vehicles. Our innovative team, led by Todd Sloan, EVP of Hexagon Purus, likes friendly competition from bird watching and cook offs to weekly battle for the largest turn out between our Mountain Biking ride and the Soccer Team events.
