Hexagon Purus Texas, LLC., a business division focused on vehicle assembly and manufacturing, is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to work out of our Dallas, TX USA facility. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of EV trucks. This role requires a deep understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems. The Master Scheduler will collaborate closely with various departments including Procurement, Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance to align production activities with business goals and customer demands.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) to meet customer demands and company goals.

· Analyze sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to create an efficient production plan.

· Adjust schedules based on changes in demand, resource availability, and other factors.

· Implement and utilize advanced planning and scheduling (APS) tools to optimize production planning and scheduling.

· Coordinate with Procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components.

· Work with Production teams to allocate resources effectively and optimize workflow.

· Monitor and manage capacity planning, ensuring optimal use of labor, machinery, and materials.

· Communicate schedule changes and updates to all relevant departments and stakeholders.

· Track and analyze production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

· Generate regular reports on schedule adherence, production efficiency, and other key performance indicators.

· Utilize scheduling software and tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date production data.

· Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks, and other issues that may impact delivery timelines.

· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and production efficiency.

· Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in production scheduling.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar field. Advanced degree preferred.

· Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.

· Experience in the automotive or EV manufacturing industry is preferred.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools is advantageous.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
