Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing and Strategy, the Product Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in the launch and promotion of a new commercial vehicle brand from Hexagon Purus. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to establish our brand and secure a strong foothold in the market. As the job requires an in-depth understanding of our target audience, competition, and industry trends, you will be responsible for conducting thorough market research that will inform marketing decisions.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
· 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand development and launch.
· Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and related trends.
· Proven ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
· Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Passport for travel to US
· Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
· Identifying specific regional marketing goals and objectives.
· Assisting the marketing director to develop creative strategies.
· Recommending strategies to implement in regional marketing plans.
· Analyzing local competition and strengthening the company’s brand position in assigned regional areas.
· Managing and working within the regional marketing budget.
· Liaising with the product marketing department to suggest product enhancement or alternatives to meet customer demands.
· Understanding national marketing plans and tailoring them to suit particular regions.
· Evaluating productivity and marketing strategies’ return on investment (ROI).
Example tasks:
· Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
· Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
· Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
· Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
· Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
· Monitoring social media and company website metrics.
· Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
· Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
